California Trinity University¡¯s President, Dr. Kevin Choe met with the physicians from White Memorial Hospital on Sept. 23, 2009, to begin the process of starting the Ph.D. program in Pain Management.
As our school is pioneering into the field of Medical Science, Dr. Kevin Choe saw it appropriate to offer the degree with the participation of physicians working under the Craniofacial Pain Clinic to enhance our research studies.
The physicians and practitioners from the hospital all believe that true research training comes only from full immersion in any research project, the student will function as a graduate student after choosing her/his laboratory. Also, they believed that students will be able to train in the most intellectual and experimental environments, which are the hallmark of successful scientific practice.
Finally Dr. Choe and the physicians from White Memorial Hospital believe that if students from CTU are joined in the study of medical science with White Memorial Hospital, students will have the foundation of skills necessary for developing an outstanding post-graduate career as an outstanding health professional.
